Who knew Nicole Richie had that much talent?

According to Us Weekly, Nicole has been offered the lead role in Chicago on Broadway! The new mom would have her name in lights, as Roxie Hart, but the mag says Nic is still undecided if she should go for it.

"Shes definitely interested and weighing it out with the timing of the baby," a friend said. "It is in the super early stages of discussions and no decision has been made yet."

"It would give her a reason to really show her talent and to stay in the new place in NY Joel just got," the source said. "It also shows people are really excited about Nicole right now."

Apparently Nicole can sing and dance (though weve never had the pleasure to see that, other than during her Middle America clubbing stint on The Simple Life) and has been working on album for years.

But Nic has lots of stuff to think about before committing to the grueling schedule of Broadway.

"She is also weighing some other amazing offers but 2008 is going to be really exciting for her," her pal said. "She just working it all out and keeping Harlow in mind with everything she does, of course."

Would you go see Nicole in Chicago? I would be really intrigued.

Lynne Spears filed court papers accusing Sam of drugging daughter Britney Spears during the time he was her "manager" (which led to the restraining order against him), and now Los Angeles police say they are looking into allegations that "someone" was slipping something into Brits applesauce.

Though the LAPD says they have not decided whether to open a formal investigation -- and no suspects have been named --  Police Capt. Kyle Jackon said in a statement Wednesday that the allegations are being considered by the Robbery-Homicide unit to determine if laws have been violated.

This is so crazy! Imagine if Britney was really being drugged all of that time we thought she had just lost her marbles? I know we thought that the pop star could have been on drugs, but to be actually be drugged is whole new ballgame.

Amy Winehouse is to launch her own range of clothes and make-up, according to a report.

The singer will meet experts later this week to discuss the planned line, which will include her trademark black liquid eyeliner as well as hairspray and perfume.

A friend told The Sun: Amys style has been copied by girls around the country and theres a lot of money to be made. Its a very distinctive look.

She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume. All the things that are distinctive of her look.

An industry insider added: I think this stuff would sell very well in London. She has become a fashion icon despite not always looking too fresh.

SAO PAULO, Brazil (AP) â” Naomi Campbell was hospitalized in Sao Paulo for the removal of a small cyst, her publicist said Tuesday.

The 37-year-old British supermodel, a frequent visitor to Brazil who earlier this month celebrated Carnival in the northeastern city of Salvador, was treated at Sirio Libanes Hospital.

"Naomi Campbell was admitted to the hospital last night to have a small cyst removed," Jeff Raymond, Campbells publicist, said in a statement. "Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her."

Campbell underwent successful emergency abdominal surgery, gynecologist Jose Aristodemo Pinotti told the Agencia Estado news service.

"I cannot reveal what Naomi had, nor how serious her condition was, but I can say I operated on her yesterday and that she is completely cured," Pinotti said.

He described the procedure as a laparoscopy, in which doctors use a thin, lighted scope to view internal organs.

The hospital said Campbell was admitted Sunday night and added that "the patient and her advisers have determined that the hospitals medical staff will not issue any formal or informal information on her medical condition."

The hospital said David Uip, one of Brazils leading experts in the treatment of infectious diseases, was also caring for Campbell.
